These X-Files Minimates are great! When can I expect to see more?

DSTChuck: Glad you like them! Yes, more have been discussed – if the ones that are out right now do well, we’d love to make them.

Hey! With Peter Parker getting a new costume, there’s no doubt in my mind we’ll be getting a Minimate of this particular Spider-Man variation. So how’s about packing it with a classic Prowler Minimate? Hobbie Brown shoes up in the new series to tie it all together AND this’d be a great classic, secondary fan favorite that’d get longtime Minimate fans excited to buy another version of Spidey.

DSTChuck: We have not really gotten too far into 2017 yet, but we still have some surprises left for this year. No Prowler yet, though.

I just read that you’re no longer doing the Mass Effect Minimates….so sad to see that we’re not getting any more any time soon. Are you hoping to return to this line at a later time? Do you have any plans for any other video game lines? I would love to see some Kingdom Hearts Minimates-so many possible characters to choose from including Disney characters, Final Fantasy characters and even original KH characters like Sora, Riku and Kairi.

DSTChuck: Right now, there are no plans for any new video game licenses, but that could change at any time.

Is there any update on Muppet Minimates series 3? I’d love to see who we can expect next. I hope Janice, Floyd, and Zoot will be there to complete my Electric Mayhem set! Really, any Muppet news, Minimate or selects, would be so greatly appreciated!

DSTChuck: We’ve planned out as far as Muppets MM series 4 so far. Hopefully we’ll have some new prototypes to show at Comic-Con.

Any chance of maybe doing some of your most popular series in the 3 inch format from the old days? I don’t mean re-releasing everything but maybe having a handful of characters done 3 inches. Like, Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-man, you know, the main characters. A couple of Aliens, Ripley, and Hicks.thanks!
DSTChuck: I don’t think we have any plans for something like that right now. Sorry. However, our 4-inch Vinimates vinyl figure line is a place where we spotlight the main characters from different properties, in a quasi-Minimates style.

Hi Chuck, Now that Civil War has released, is there any chance DST could please try to fit a Spider-Man Minimate in somewhere, maybe a convention exclusive or boxset? The other major toy manufacturers have finally revealed their versions of Spidey, so we Minimates collectors could really use some good news. There are plenty of other characters or variants that could easily round out a boxset that wouldn’t require any new tooling:
– Civilian versions of Scarlet Witch, Black Widow, Stark, Cap, or Bucky
– 1991 Stark family
– Col. Zemo
– Vision in his casual wear
– Peter Parker
– King T’Chaka
– Everett Ross
Please consider topping off the Civil War MInimates lines with a release to include Spider-Man.Also, Gwen-Pool, we really need a Gwen-Pool Minimate. :) Thank you for your time.

DSTChuck: Sorry we have no plans for more Civil War Minimates. I agree, once the movie comes out and you can see it on the big screen and how fans react, there is SO much more you want to do. However, we’ve already moved onto Dr. Strange and beyond. If we started product after the movie was seen, it would not be in stores until long after even the DVD has come out. The Scarlet Witch/Vision set we put out at SDCC will be the last of the Cap 3 line.

Is there any chance of seeing Minimates for the new Ninja Turtles movie coming out?

DSTChuck: Sorry, no plans at this time. We are looking at more TMNT Minimates, but not from the movies right now.

I was wondering if there were any plans for any future Ghost Rider Minimates , possibly based off any of the characters from GHOST RACERS Secret Wars tie-in comics or at the very least if there were any plans for reusing the flame piece from Wave 50’s Ghost Rider figure but in a translucent yellow or orange plastic? Thanks for your time & have a great day.
DSTChuck: We have no plans right now for a Ghost Rider-themed Minimates line, but I have no idea if he will be mixed into a future series.
