Can I just say that I have been a Batman collector for years and I love the range of animated busts and femme fatale animated statues too. I have bought so far (all colour busts) Batman, Harley, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Joker, Two Face, Robin, Bane. I have bought the femme fatales; Poison Ivy, Harley, Talia, Catwoman and Batgirl. I also have the Mad love Harley. Also, could you do busts for the Batman films as well (Tim Burton, Joel Schumacher and Christopher Nolan)? Could you do anything like a bust, statue of Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy? I would love to see this! Will you ever do statues/busts for Twin Peaks, Blade Runner?

DSTChuck: Jamie, thanks for the support, the line has been SO great to work on. Right now we do not have any rights to the Batman movies, but never say never. And we’d love to do Blade Runner products, but it’s not possible at this time.

The marvel gallery pvc series looks awesome!!! Many like me who wanted a fresh start on a marvel collection finally got their prayers answered, i hope to see more!!!
Meanwhile could there be a movie gallery pvc series? Featuring aliens and predators or other movie fantasy characters?

DSTChuck: Right now our hands are pretty full with all the Gallery pieces we’re doing, but if the response to the line stays strong it would be fantastic to expand it. We’ve done some of that with Alice Through the Looking Glass and Star Trek, so we’ll see how it goes.

Dear DST, you mentioned that making variants of already existing ships are profitable and are definitely ones you want to produce. With that said does the Nebula class starship pop up in conversation seeing as there are many molds already tooled for production of this ship and theoretically there isn’t too much tweaking needed to produce the nebula.

DSTChuck: Sorry, I don’t think the Nebula class is in our current top five of ships we’re looking at for next.

In light of the success of the Hallmark Caddyshack Christmas ornaments. I would like propose an idea of a Caddyshack toy line. Including characters such as Carl Spackler, Ty Webb, and the Gopher. I believe do to the longevity and popularity of the Caddyshack movie, this line of toys could be quite a success.

DSTChuck: Caddyshack is a GREAT movie and would make great toys, but that line is not possible at this time.

Hi, I’m curious as to if or when another run of the Wrath of Khan Enterprise 1701 and the Nemesis Enterprise-E will be released. I missed out on the latest batches and the after market prices are ridiculous. And why is it that I hear that it’s impossible to make these two ships with the “Lights On” feature that’s become a standard staple of the later ships in the line? Shouldn’t that be a simple change to the electronics, similar to adding a new sound effect?

DSTChuck: Galen, our sales folks are always polling the buyers to see what the interest level is for running more ships. For sure, we are not closing the book on those ships at this time. As for adding a stay-on feature to ships that were developed before we came up with that feature – no, it’s not a simple thing to just change it, if it was we would be happy to do it.

It would be great if you would make action figures of historical figures. I would love to have American Revolution series and Founding Fathers.

DSTChuck: We have thought about that before, but it does not seem there is enough retail interest for something like that.

For the next wave of Indie Minimates, would it be possible to see characters form the maxx comic series, or lara croft on her original attire? Also, are there exact dates for the release of the pulp fiction figures? Finally, would it be possible in the future to have figures made of the jump street franchise? Thanks!

DSTChuck: Right now we do not have plans for another series of Comic Book Heroes Minimates. We no longer have the rights to Lara Croft, and we are not working on that line at this time or Jump Street – sorry. We’ll keep everyone posted on Pulp Fiction.

Raph L.
With the upcoming tarantino movie figures are there chance for other tarantino movie chracters like django, and the reservoir dogs? If not is there a chance for Minimate sets of these characters?

DSTChuck: Sorry, for now we are not looking at expanding the Tarantino universe as figures or Minimates, but never say never.

Since you have had success with the Lost in Space B9 robot (that will hopefully lead to a Jupiter II) Would you ever consider doing the Seaview from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea? Maybe even a Flying Sub?

DSTChuck: Right now we are not looking at that, but we ARE looking at other classic TV shows and movies for other items that could be good for similar products.

1) Have you been approached by CBS or have you approached CBS regarding taking on a licence for the newly announced Star Trek: Discovery TV series? I’m drooling just thinking about a DST USS Discovery NCC – 1031 ship on my shelf next to the other DST ships I have.

2) With Star Trek Beyond out everywhere and seemingly no toy line to accompany it, has there been any sort of discussion between yourselves and CBS/Paramount about taking on the license for the Kelvin Timeline films?

3) This has clearly been quite a big year for Star Trek with a lot of companies putting out a lot of product. Some such as Mezco, Mega Bloks, Qmx and Eaglemoss seem to be really jumping on the 50th band waggon by showcasing a great selection of merch. Why is it that, for many fans out there, the toy line that has been a staple of Star Trek toys for 10 years now, has seemed rather lacklustre in this anniversary year? One ship, one figure and one phaser hardly seems very extensive…

3) Should we, as fans of Star Trek and of your Trek merchandise (in particular for me it’s your ships), be nervous about the future of your Star Trek line or are there exciting plans afoot that will reignite your Star Trek line?

DSTChuck: David, I think once there is more information available about Discovery, we will have a dialogue and see where it goes. There are no current talks with CBS about the new movies. We have talked to them in the past. I am sorry we have not made enough products for you this year. We think when you add it all up there has been a good bit of product, but I guess that is in the eye of each collector and their interest and budget. As for the ships , I see no reason to be nervous, we always have the GOAL of two new ships a year and do the best we can to achieve that. Sometimes stuff comes up that is not expected and causes us to spend more time than expected getting a ship to market.

Eric P.
Just gotta say how much I love the work you’re doing with the Star Trek line, and as a fan of TOS props and vehicles, I have to ask if you have any plans to follow up the Trek III phaser with a Trek III communicator, or will follow up the TOS Romulan Bird of Prey with a TOS Klingon D7? There’s some variant potential with that D7. :)

DSTChuck: Right now no plans for the Trek 3 phaser, we’re working on the Cobra phaser development. The D7 will not follow the Romulan, it will be followed by the USS Reliant.

Robert S.
Can you guys make Toy Lines of Undertale ROBLOX and 10 Cloverfield Lane?

DSTChuck: I am sorry, we are not looking at those properties at this time.

Tray C.
I’ve had a TOS Enterprise (classic version, not HD version) stuck in preorder hell at Entertainment Earth for a very long time. I was hoping there would be another production run for the 50th anniversary, and since EE didn’t say “Sold Out”, I would have a chance. My first one was stolen and I really want it back in the collection. Is there any hope? Perhaps in 50th anniversary packaging?

DSTChuck: I am sorry about that! I think at this time the not-HD version is “retired,” but I will say we never say never. If we hear of sufficient demand, for sure we will look at making more of that version.

Mark D.
Why not do a limited edition Horror line. A 1/6 scale Christopher Lee as Count Dracula with his coffin and Crucifix maybe a female vampire. Or maybe do a 1/12 collectible version that’s less expensive.

DSTChuck: Mark, I am sorry, that is not something we’re looking at, or in line with any other products we are making at this time.

Thomas L.
Just purchased lost in space b9 was very impressed with accurate lights on him. I was wondering if Robby the Robot who appeared in lost in space would be available soon or something in the works.

DSTChuck: We did ask if we could do the robot that looked like Robby in Lost in Space, but were told that would not be possible – however, we absolutely have not closed the door on doing a Robby.

I recently discovered your products at a con, specifically your DC animated Femme Fatales series of figures. I instantly fell in love and bought all I could afford at the time, so as a fan of the DC animated verse since childhood, I ask you, will there be any more female heroes or villains In this line of figures? I’d absolutely love to see Huntress, Black Canary, Vixen, Big Barda, and even Galatea…

DSTChuck: Yes the line is still going on. In fact some of the ones you are asking for are in the works. Huntress, Black Canary and Galatea are in production right now!
