When did you first start collecting?
I started collecting Diamond Select Dioramas in 2017.
How did you start collecting?
My sister had purchased a Wonder Woman statue for my birthday back in 2013 and that lit the spark. I had collected comics and comic trading cards when I was a kid, but I'd never heard about statues/dioramas until I saw some on Amazon.com and was really captivated by the artistry and being able to have my favorite comic book characters in this new type of collectible.
What was the first item that started your Diamond Select Toys collection?
My first Diamond Select purchase was the Marvel Gallery Diorama of Captain Marvel.
What are your favorite/ most prized pieces in your collection?
I really love the DC Gallery Diorama line of villains: Darkseid, Lex Luthor, Joker, Black Adam, Penguin, Catwoman, Deathstroke, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Bane, Poison Ivy, & Harley Quinn. I hope Diamond makes more!
Does your collection have a theme? (Star Wars, Marvel, Superheroes, Disney, DC, etc.)
I'm definitely a hardcore Marvel/DC fan, though some other properties like G.I. Joe & Star Wars get into the mix.
What is the most recent Diamond Select Toys item you’ve acquired?
My last purchase was the Morbius Diorama, love the character and love the rendering.
